What does „Arbeitskreis Asyl Ditzingen e.V. mean?

The „working group Asyl Ditzingen e.V.“ is a charitable organization whose members work on a voluntary basis and want to help refugees to start a new life at our municipality.

General information

1. Where can I get inexpensive clothing or other supplies?

 

You can buy in the following second-hand shops:

The food bank shop in Ditzingen is for people in need from Ditzingen from the follow-up accommodation. They can stock up on the essentials for life there - especially food such as fruit and vegetables, bread, milk. The food bank is located at Gerlinger

To be able to shop in the store, you need an ID. You get the ID card if you prove your need. To do this, take a photo and the asylum allowance notice from the district office or job center and present it to the Protestant office at Mittlere Straße 17 in Ditzingen. The office is located near the food bank.

3. Learn German independently

These are a few good, mostly free apps or homepages without obligation. In the language settings of your mobile phone, add the German keyboard as an input method. If you don't know how to do it, search the Internet or come to our office hours.

  • Duolingo: Very useful app!
  • Bravolol Dictionary German....: Words, principles, various topics. With microphone to record your own voice and listen to it compared to the original. After a few lessons, you will have to pay or accept supplements.
